Tim Loomis

Lead pastor

Tim and Beverly Loomis came to Mt. Gilead Church from Michigan.  After being involved in different aspects of church work for most of his life, Tim began to feel that God was leading him to become a pastor.  So, in the fall of 2011 he entered the Master's Program at Grace College and Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana.  After graduating from Seminary in 2013 and less than a year later, he began the interview process to come to Mt. Gilead Church.  How he and Beverly ended up coming to Mt. Gilead is quite an amazing story but God was in it every step of the way.  Tim and Beverly feel so at home here and have been amazed at God's provision and blessing.

As pastor, Tim's heart is to reach the lost and grow Christians into stronger disciples of Jesus.  He presents messages that are relevant and also delivered in a manner that anyone can relate to and understand.  He loves humor and likes to incorporate it into his messages.

Tim and Beverly have three children. (Blake, Drew, & Brianna) They are all married and have their own families. Drew and his wife Kayla have three children, Josias, Theo and Clara!  Blake and his wife Autumn also have three children, Avonlea, Journey and Jesse Luke!   Brianna is married to Michael Gallager and have two dogs, Henry and Ivy.

Tim loves spending time with Beverly, watching and talking football (especially that University of Michigan team and the "mighty" Detroit Lions!) woodworking, fishing, hunting, and Pickle Ball.
